When culmination of summer is upon us and fall will bring colorful leaves and briskfull eves. To shroud sunny summer with a fond farewell and welcome fall harvest season, us folks of “The Happy Homestead” are throwing our annual Hurray. This is a costume event so scare up something to wear. A weekend of camping and activities are planned with the common theme of FUN weaving its web throughout. Nightime will lend itself to a bonfire with song, dance, and merriment in the fashion of Pan himself. For there are plans for horseshoe & Disc Golf tournaments, hiking, biking and relaxing in the woods of contentment. Saturday night hosts live music to christen the stage which you become the star, bring your instrument or voice for an open mic event until the wee hours of morn. Stay the night and dance with the green fairies under the stars while saying “au revoir” to summer. Sunday offers more opportunities for those willing worker bees to indulge in cleaning and other duties.

Things to bring: tent, sleeping bag, pillow, assortment of clothes, instrument, anything else you might think would be fun the have, a grill will be provided but please bring your own food and Beer (BYOB)…

Please leave your worries and stress behind before arriving at The Happy Homestead, as only that which fosters happiness, wellbeing and camaraderie is allowed!!!
